The National Council for Promotion of Urdu Language قومی کونسل براۓ فروغ اردو زبان, Qaumī kaunsala barā'ē-furōġta-ai-urdū-zabān) (NCPUL) is an autonomous regulatory body. It is the main authority of Urdu language and education in India.
Functions and Objectives :
- To make available knowledge of scientific and technological development and ideas evolved in the modern context in Urdu
- Promotion of the Urdu language
- Provide Diplomas in Urdu
- Increase IT literacy in Urdu
- Provide Publications in Urdu.
